"Japanese ball bearings and grease" is a big selling point, these fans should be extremely durable compared to any type of sleeve/trunnion/"liquid" fan. Even if other manufacturers advertise material about their slide bearing technology or "liquid bearing", this is a cost-saving measure compared to using high-quality branded ball bearings. Given that these fans are well priced compared to other well known brands of liner/fluid bearing fans and cheaper than many others, they appear to offer excellent value for money.
