The stool is very solid and sturdy for the price point. Assembly took me a total of less than 5 minutes and it also comes with some application strips to apply on each step for traction purposes which seems to work quite well. My child uses this on a daily basis for purposes of reaching our sink to brush his teeth, wash his hands, etc.The footprint on this is much smaller than some of the over-sized plastic step stools you see available from other vendors. It does it's job well and given the design and materials used, one could even consider painting it to match the decor of the room it's used in. Overall great value!
