I have kids and mainly wanted to protect them from flying luggage when we travel long distances so I use it off label as a pet barrier but for kids safety. I bought a mesh barrier model. It was easy to assemble and install after measuring and checking for the correct size. For this I installed the middle part without side parts. And then I checked which side panel to mount and marked the spot with tape. I then removed it from the car to complete the assembly. Once assembled, it is easy to install. One star off because it rattles. I went to TrueValue to buy a few more tubes to buffer it and it's been mostly quiet since then. Works as it should, so I'm satisfied. My car is a 2016 Honda Pilot, the 3rd row seats are folded down, the charge mats are up, the barrier is installed behind the 2nd row seats.
