This beautiful bookcase appears to be very reliable and durable. However, it took me hours to get to this point. I did everything recommended before building. That was my first problem. My parts list didn't look like my parts list. It took me a lot of trial and error to assemble the device. I had all the parts, but I had to see that the long screw had to be unscrewed from a very strange part. This removed part was necessary and had to go underneath into a room for surprises. Ashamed? I was. At some point during assembly, a piece fell on my sleeping dog. My cute dog screamed for a few minutes and pressed his leg. She climbed into her cage and waited for me to finally finish before leaving. Yes I go. The best direction would have cut this evening project to an hour or less than it needed to. We are not all engineers. Many of us are just old ladies.
