Releases slowly, holds about half a load of laundry
I like that the hanging cord is actually metal so it doesn't stretch or sag. Now I understand that the quilt, sheets and other clothing items will definitely not exceed this bad boy's weight limit. We have a few screws in the bolt just in case. It retracts slowly, which is good for safety, but I think it's annoyingly slow. The box isn't just chrome-plated, it's made from a single piece of metal. Completely satisfied! I need two to hold a normal load of laundry.
