I have three heart rate watches and this is the best of them all. The first heart rate monitor I bought cost about $650. It's great and has some very cool features, but the band is worn out and I can't get a replacement as it seems the company doesn't sell replacement bands(!) and only that company's bands will fit the watch. So it's a lot of money down the drain since I can no longer use this watch. The second heart rate monitor I bought is fine, but the numbers are tiny and muddy, and the face design isn't great. Now this watch. The price is okay. The band is good, looks solid, no problems so far. And I can replace the band later if it ever wears out. I like the dial design. Watches with heart rate monitors usually come in two forms: 30-beat timers and 15-beat timers. So you either count 30 beats of the patient's heart and then see the corresponding number on the clock, or you count 15 beats and then see the corresponding number. The advantage of 30-bit heart rate monitors is that the small numbers on the outside of the watch are easier to read because they are not as compressed and very small. The disadvantage of 30-second heart rate monitors is that you can only start timing when the large hand is at the top or bottom of the watch. This is a 30-bit heart rate monitor. Because the "result" numbers on this watch run more than half the hours, you cannot begin measuring the patient's heart rate until the sweep pointer is at the 12 position at the top of the watch. On the one hand, this is a disadvantage, since you may have to wait almost a minute for the pointer to be in its original position. But it's also an advantage because the small numbers on the outside of the watch (the numbers that show your patient's pulse rate) are better placed and therefore easier to read. So this is the best heart rate monitor I've found. and i really like it. I wear it every day. Some of my doctor colleagues liked it so much that they also ordered this watch. If I could change something about this clock, I would increase the small red "result" numbers. I think I need to buy new glasses so I can see the little things better. Still, I love this watch.
