A few months ago I bought a full size purple topper to put on top of my old worn out futon that I used as my real bed. last year. The futon had tiny, strong buttons that dig into my back and sides while I slept, and was basically as uncomfortable as the futon mattress. I'm a college student working part-time as a manager at a pizza place, so buying a new bed or mattress on a budget of $20 a week after bills and necessities just isn't possible. This mattress topper was within my very limited capacity. Budget, and it looked like it could put an end to bruising from those horrible buttons and bumps. It exceeded all my expectations and for the first time in my LIFE I enjoyed a truly comfortable and restful night's sleep. I grew up on a 30 year old twin bed mattress until I went to college where I now sleep on a futon - I've never known anything but a crappy bed. With this on my mattress, I felt like I was sleeping on a brand new $1,500 mattress; Also, it smelled like lavender for a whole week after I put it on my bed and my room became a welcoming and cozy retreat. It was difficult to get it out of the box at first, but after unrolling it on the mattress it just ballooned and filled the entire room. The 2" thickness means regular full size sheets are very tight so deep pocket sheets are a must and sheet clips keep them in place as this topper seems to like to slide onto the side you get out of bed with climb. Having slept on it for 4 months, it still returns to its relatively flat state after I get out of bed and provides just enough material support to make the buttons on the mattress seem to disappear. TL; DR - Best value mattress topper I think could ever be. Makes an uneven, uncomfortable futon look like a new and expensive bed.
