The wallet was packed in a protective bag. This is a beautiful bag. I've had it for two months and I love it. The bag is not big but with several pockets. Only a sunglass case and a small wallet fit in. A zippered pocket holds lipstick and lipstick, two pockets on the side, my phone in the top one and pens and a face mask in the other. I attach keys to the outside and haven't had any issues with the zippers or the strap. It has a nice leather scent. I think it gets darker over time and you can tell it's thick skin. I'll use my saddle soap and oil if it needs cleaning. My saddles turn dark when I clean them and I'm sure this wallet will turn dark because it's real leather. I love it and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want a big wallet.
