I purchased this phone specifically to replace my old Republic Wireless phone. I found it cheaper here than Republic Wireless' website. Republic Wireless' website listed this phone as compatible. In the Q&A section of this product page, people said it was compatible. That it was "unlocked". It has not been activated. It wasn't compatible. Apparently there are only 4 "build numbers" - which I've never heard of before - of this phone that are compatible with Republic Wireless. As this is no coincidence; My guess is that you MUST purchase this phone from the Republic Wireless website to ensure you get the correct build number. You'd think they would have printed it in giant block letters on this page, which is what I did in the title. If you want this phone, buy it from Republic Wireless, or better yet, another vendor. Right now I'm really thinking about moving to another company. One more thing. The icing on the cake is that after inserting the micro SD card and downloading the Republic Wireless app, the phone actually received an automated message telling me I'm sorry for the wasted money and directing me to Republic Wireless forwarded. Website to buy ANOTHER PHONE. Instead, how about putting all that build number nonsense on your website in giant block letters so you can save your customers time and money.
