These make a great shoe for walking. Don't know about running as my daily exercise is walking 3 to 4 miles per day on an indoor walking track where I work out. Very light weight. Only negative I see is these white shoes scuff very easily and there does not appear to be a way to remove the scuff once it is scuffed. Not sure if they can be machine washed.
