I didn't expect to be surprised when I bought this mouse. As soon as I opened the unmistakably Chinese box, my expectation changed from "nothing special" to "instant return". Photos always look better than the actual device and this is no exception. Point #1 - The aluminum side fairing, deck fairing and scroll wheel are the worst plastic imitations I've ever seen. Point 2 - There is no way to set a specific color for "RGB". There is also a blue LED that cannot be turned off. I suspect it's a tracking laser, but I've never seen blue. But you can't turn it off here either. This means that when the RGB color changes, the blue light also lights up, breaking the RGB effect. You can turn off the RGB effect, but the blue light will always remain. This is documented on the product page but seems like they should have included this from the start. ALSO the LEDs don't light up the whole mouse like in the pictures. Only the bottom buttons, like the logo and surrounding areas, are highlighted. see photo. Item #3 - No memory for the included receiver. In fact, she was lying in the box that the mouse came in. I don't see a way to program the mouse to a different receiver or vice versa. This means that this little button is VERY easy to lose if you frequently move your mouse between computers or on the go. Point 4: The main mouse buttons are incredibly soft. This is important because you want to know when your fingers actually clicked, but you don't feel it. a noticeable click with every other mouse button, but with the ones you use most often. Point number 5 - the location of the USB connector is unforgivable. At least it's better than what you get on Apple's magic mouse, the USB is where your palm rests. This renders the mouse virtually unusable while charging. In conclusion, just save your money and buy something *more expensive* but worth the money.
