I knew I wanted to buy a timer but didn't know what size. After reading the reviews I decided on the medium size. Notice where I have no reviews on the center at this time. I have a two car garage that I converted into a gym. Size 1.8 is perfect for me. I can see the numbers well outside the garage. Installation was easy. It came with all the tools how to make it. As far as programming and setup goes, it's so easy it's hard. LOL I caught myself reading the instructions. Programming Notes: Hours - when entering numbers, these are hours, minutes and seconds. Also note that you must enter in 24-hour format. So if it's 2:45 PM, enter 144500. Now if it's 2:45 AM, it's 024500. The first two digits are the hours, the second two minutes, and the last two seconds. Intervals - use the number (0-9) on the remote control. Use the A1 key to enter your exercise time, then press Enter. Use the A2 key to enter the sleep time and then press Enter. (Note that the input at this point is minutes and seconds). Then use the A3 key to enter the rounds (max. 99). F1, F2 and F3 are preset intervals including one based on Tabata. This timer is great. The ONLY thing I think it could use is a louder buzzer with a volume knob to adjust. I think the buzzer is silent. However, I have to admit that I play the music a bit loud. Overall, I think this timer is great and would recommend it. This is a great addition to my home gym.
