Review on DIYhz 5-Piece GX16 Circular Metal Aviation Connector Set With Male/Female Plugs And Mounting Adapter by Harry Jenkins

Bought these because my battery tester has GX16-3's as inputs for the positive and negative. 2 pins for current and 1 pin for voltage sensing. I was confused because there are only two wires so I took the one's included with the tester apart and saw that they split the 16AWG current conductor in half and put half on each pin. Reason to replace them was I didn't care for the alligator clamps on the other end.don't get me wrong they are nice and appear to be pure copper but testing small cylindrical cells (18650's 21700's etc) is easier if you use some kind of purpose made fixture. I had been using an SMD style cell holder and just clamping the other end of the leaf spring where you would normally solder but I know the leaf spring isn't capable of more than 5'ish amps. The whole point of the battery tester is to discharge cells at up to 20 amps and create graphs of the discharge curve so I went looking for the highest current rated GX-16 that wasn't stupid expensive and settled on these. I have yet to do any testing over 5 amps and I doubt my fixture can handle more than 10 amps but if the GX connectors fails I will be back here to update.Edit: Tested thoroughly while running some spicy power cells at 20 Amps. With 2 pins used for the current that’s 10A per pin. No melting, smoking, strange smells, nothingThese do fit a bit tight into my devices OEM female connectors but nothing I would say is out of spec.Worth every cent.
