I was surprised that they were actually made of metal. They have a bit of "weight" and just feel solid and well made. Most other inexpensive earphones are made of plastic and usually don't fit well. The cable is good and also long. A very well made product at a very fair and affordable price. I highly recommend this company. I also received a personal email from the company asking for my thoughts and if I could give them any feedback. They seem to understand that the only difference between them and other companies that make and sell this product is their care and concern for the customer, and they seem to get a lot of that!
