Not exactly what I expected

I've been painting on envelopes a lot for the last year and thought it would really help to keep calligraphic addresses perfectly straight. Well, not so much. You cannot calligraph or address with the template on the envelope as your downward strokes will be interrupted by the plastic. I use them, but only to slightly outline the lines at the top and bottom, and then, after setting the addresses, erase the lines with a pencil. Isn't worth the money to me. A small ruler and pencil will also work, if not better.
