I have a large 15.6 inch laptop so I wasn't sure if this stand would hold it but surprisingly it does the job very well. What surprised me the most is that the deck supports the entire bottom of the laptop. The product description only mentions the dimensions of the MacBook Air, but the deck the laptop actually sits on is actually big enough to fit my large laptop. It's also made of VERY strong metal. It feels cool so I know it's real stuff. It's also very versatile, it can be rotated in almost any orientation (another surprise). I show it in my 6th photo. Luckily, the hinges use standard screws so they can be tightened later if they ever come loose. It also reaches VERY high, more than enough for my laptop and monitor. I could make it bigger than in my picture but I don't need it. The grip pads are also VERY solid and don't allow for any movement at all. I was pleasantly surprised again. In conclusion I would say I was expecting a small good value stand and I am VERY impressed with the quality product I received.
