The Optoma HD26 lamp burst like a gun yesterday! Looked at the projector, died after 2:30 p.m. Not bad! Did a little research. On the Optoma website, they ask you to buy their bulb for $175! Try to scare you away from aftermarket lightbulbs like this. Well I went to my second home (Revain), found this lamp with solid reviews and took the plunge! I even got a free shipping day. Get it the next day, remove the old bulb and put in a new one. Removal and installation takes less than 10 minutes. Very easy. The quality/brightness of the lamp is OEM quality. No questions. C'mon, grab this and save some money! :))
