Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!
In 2022, this phone is sold only by unofficial imports. Sellers open the box to "globalize" the firmware and then solder it back, as if it were, completely removing the factory seal from the box. There is no official firmware for the CIS countries, but this does not look like a problem, the 2022 language is in the settings and it works, including a quick search for contacts on the numeric keypad. After connecting to the Internet, a firmware ate arrived. The service menu does not contain information about customization for the sales market. I have a model XQ-CT72, white version. In fact, it is slightly gray with a barely noticeable greenish tint.
Pros
- - Almost pure android (if suddenly someone did not own Sony phones) - A good filter for spam calls (not a feature of this particular model, but in the latest dormouse it comes out of the box without additional hassle, it also works flawlessly here, although occasionally it misses) - Finally, we added a long screenshot, which has been in Samsung for a long time - The villi no longer get stuck near the speaker at the junction of the glass with the body (whoever had a mark II knows) - Aluminum "painted" by anodizing (at least in white version)
Cons
- - No official warranty in 2022, only seller's warranty - The case now has sharp edges, and holding the phone in your hand is not as comfortable as mark II - It rattles strongly on the surface of the table when the vibration works, because the phone rests on the table at 2 points: the camera block and the corner of the body farthest from it. Another (almost freely hanging) corner of the body and rattles against the table Further for geeks (in the previous version of the review there was a minus star for supposedly not working VoLTE at all, but a solution was found, I apologize if this moment turned out to be decisive for someone): - There are problems with VoLTE: it does not work if VoWiFi is enabled at the same time, and the first registration in IMS services after turning on the phone was via WiFi. You can solve it in one of the following ways: - disable VoWiFi - set the priority of VoLTE over VoWiFi in the settings - reboot the phone with WiFi turned off (after reboot you can turn it on) - perhaps this problem will be fixed in the new firmware version
