I think the fasteners are ok
You can see where the two 18 inch fasteners meet. There were 84 in a pack of 4 and I've used them all but my hair is very thick. However, the curls are soft. I'm 5'7. The size of the locks (thickness) is really tiny. But in general they are cute, hairpins and accessories are attached to them. (There were no accessories on my hair). They don't smell, so it's all good. I like the hair, although it's not heavy it's really light
