Burned very badly - not low temperature

I bought these for sensory play and as a masochist I love pain. I was really looking forward to being tied up and letting my boyfriend grow my body. It burned me so badly I completely lost my temper and my skin was tight and swollen. Do not buy them if you intend to use them for intimate purposes.
