Bought for a week long vacation when we were supposed to be making 4 long trips. It was a great way to organize events and stay focused. I was looking for a solution to organize and store books, toys, headphones and art supplies for road trips in a way that would keep them off the floor and easy to grab. I bought 2 for three kids and put one in each row (every 3 kids in car seats) of the minivan. I recommend strapping it to the seat as our first 20 minutes of movement suddenly stopped and it flew off the leather seat and dumped onto the floor. We didn't use it for mugs, bottles, or snacks, but I think it would work well for that too. I considered putting one between the captain's driver and passenger seats, but that didn't work and I couldn't stop it from slipping. Folds up and is very easy to store away when not in use.
