Cables of this length are chosen for very specific purposes. The purpose of using this cable was to connect my Galaxy S9 to a Fiio E18K Alpen2 DAC/Amplifier which, in short, delivers improved audio clarity. The cable made it easy to transfer audio files from my phone to the DAC/amplifier. Also, my Fiio could be charged through my phone, which I didn't even know was a feature of these devices. In short, if you want to connect USB-C to Micro-USB for data transfer or charging, I assume this cable will meet your needs. The build quality seems to be good. I'm not rough with my electronics and haven't used this product consistently so can't comment on its reliability at this time but for the price even if it fails in a year it's affordable enough to replace without to lose a tear If you think this is the cable size for you, give it a try.
