Media could not be loaded. I installed the bit in a 3.75 HP router and tested it on 1 1/16" thick plywood. I set the speed to low or about 9000 RPM since the bit is so big. I wasn't Impressed and won't be using this attachment. Here are my impressions. The bad: -- MULTIPLE PASSES REQUIRED: This is a large lure with long cutting edges and is dangerous to take all the lures at once and results in sloppy routes. It is best to do 2 or even 3 passes each time adjusting the stop for a deeper bite the attached video is a full bit and the router growls and there is a shredding it is scary the smaller piece delivers a clean one , even cut sound which means a nice clean cut -- NO INSTRUCTIONS: The bat came with nothing to set it up The website has some height pictures but nothing on how to set the depth of cut t. -- ACCURACY IN HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT: Even adjusting the height for each website, I could not achieve perfect leveling of flat surfaces without adjusting the height of the router very precisely. After a while, I stood up because I decided there were better, faster, safer, and more accurate edge-gluing methods. -- RAW MADE: I thought the body of the drill was rough made, with machining marks. It's the only dozen I have that looks like this. Good: - WELL BALANCED: I felt it rotated well and didn't feel unbalanced in the router. - STAYS SHARP: The bit felt sharp even after cutting about 4 feet of 1 1/16" thick plywood. Conclusion: I don't see much value in using this bit. Time consuming to use with multiple passes that much require more time Full bite is intimidating and the manufacturer didn't give instructions on how to set the depth of cut on delivery Flat edge particle board bonding is very, very strong on its own and does so If something is needed to line long boards and provide extra strength, then a cookie cutter and cookie cutter is a much quicker, easier, and more accurate method.
