Both the bottom and top are really soft and lightweight. It does run a little on the large side but I don’t mind it, I don’t like my pjs to be to tight. The only thing that sucked for me is that one of the pant pockets came torn. And it’s not a little hole it has, it’s almost like they forgot to sew it because I can fit my whole fist. But other than that they are pretty comfortable and cute
