I suffered from this mouse pad for about 13 months before I couldn't stand it a day. It was fine if I only used it for an hour or so a day, but as switching to a working remote forced me to use it for at least 8 hours a day, I realized just how inhuman this seemingly innocuous device really is. The gel itself is too difficult to fit, and the shape is such that only certain shaped wrists will rest comfortably in the "valley". Incidentally, it causes what starts as a dull ache and progresses to severe pain in the wrist area, even in the palm of the hand. I have no idea why it took me so long to get rid of that block, I guess I just didn't think about it until she got sick later that day. After switching to a much more expensive pad (you get what you pay for) the pain is gone and I wish I could stop myself from trying to save a buck when I bought this one. If you use a computer 30 minutes a day, buy it and save money. For everyone else, cut elsewhere. Skip 2 cups of coffee and buy a much better mouse pad.
