Review on Avery UltraDuty Waterproof Resistant 60517 by Andrew Agarwal

The label consists of two parts: the physical label itself and what you print on the label. "What you print on a label” must either be written on it manually (not an option for large numbers of labels) or printed on labels on a printer. To print labels on a printer, you need software and a printer. My software is Word and Avery is making a template for their labels for use in Word. Apparently NO ONE bothers to check the templates they made for their clients. The label I purchased is 1 x 2.5 inches long. . When I open the Avery template in Word and start typing, there is about 1/2 inch of space on the left end of the label and about 3/4 inch of space on the right end of the label. This way you can print about 50% of the label and only about 6 lines of text if you just keep typing. If you press enter, you can only get about 4 lines of text. These labels could be great, I don't know as I haven't created my own layout to actually print anything on them. I will not use the Avery template and will waste half the space on the label. Looks like Avery didn't even bother to test their sample to see if it matched the actual labels. You should expect to spend a lot of time figuring out how to create your own template layout to use these things.
