I'm just a fool and a curmudgeon. I try to fix everything myself. I would even do my wife's hair to save the money she spends on it, but I think she draws the line. This little pump did it. Actually twice! Because I made a mistake the first time and opened the high pressure valve when I started charging refrigerant. (I told you I was a dummy!) But this pump reduced the pressure as much as the gauge would allow. I followed the instructions of two of my heroes - Scotty Kilmer and Chris Fix on YouTube. These guys know about cars! So get this pump and you will be fine as long as you follow the instructions. And don't forget to remove the black rubber plug from the exhaust pipe, or you'll end up doing one of the two, or possibly both. Finally, you need to change your underwear. And you can end up with a black eye. Because the pressure builds up very quickly and this black rubber cap shoots like a pistol! It scared me to death! (which isn't a bad thing - I needed it!) Luckily I wasn't above him. It had enough power to leave a small mark on my drywall, so it will definitely work on your face. Attention boys and girls! I love you all! Now go and do it!
