I did my research and this press is in the top 5 everytime . I have hadn't issue s pressing my flower. It is a manual and can be hard to get enough pressure if your weak. But overall a good piece of equipment I would not call it beginner due to the instructions not giving you the ins and outs of the thing. I would recommend. Novice up. Have an idea of what you want to use it for then decide if a manual is what will work for you. I. Would have bought an automatic but to expensive. I'm pretty happy with this and got. A lot of live resin from it then used the left over for edibles. Enjoy the squish.
