Full range coverage. (Except for the alkalinity, which I don't need.) I tested our water and knew I really didn't need to buy the UV version, but you never know when the well water might change, so it takes care of everything. I had a similar (3 stage) unit before and thought about just adding a carbon filter for the final "polish" and a UV light, but when I did and replaced the old set of filters I was almost done with the Price for this setup that includes everything. So I pulled out the old one and this beast installed in about 45 minutes. (I needed a couple of adapters that I had on hand, but that was just so I could attach them to my old water inlet and outlet lines, etc. and I didn't have to re-run everything.) Our system was installed in the basement , not under the sink, so it powers the icemaker/fridge faucet and sink faucet, so the included leak stopper isn't practical for our use, but it's a nice addition for those installing it under the sink (I hope , you have plenty of room!) The included instructions are much clearer than most kits. Well written instructions and good crisp color photos, not the usual scratchy "Chinglish" paper that comes with many systems. Lines and fittings as well as filters and housing are color coded so even a caveman (like me) can do it. I replaced an existing module which saved time, but even without that this kit has everything you need for a fresh install from scratch. Highly recommended. We have well water in a semi-rural area and the raw water is decent, but we wanted the added security of extra filtration for drinking/cooking water. I bought a set of gauges to test the water before and after. Now we have an Iron Curtain filter, a water softener and this device. The raw water was 208 TDS and after installation the new TDS was 12. Almost perfect. Flavor is good and my Keurig brewed coffee has lost the "funky" flavor it took on. Everything was fine again.
