Review on MP3 player DIGMA B4 8 GB, black by Agata Kubica ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

Before Digma B4 was Explay C41. And I have something to compare. In general, for the price of 1850, the Digma B4 is good, but with manual equalizer control, it would be the best choice in terms of price-quality ratio. But it costs nothing for developers to add such an opportunity to the firmware. This will give more opportunities and do not have to bother with the selection of headphones. The model is quite fresh, so I hope to ate the software in the future. I don't want to revive the dead C41 just because of the equalizer.

Pros
  • Beautiful design, probably the most beautiful of all Digma players. A huge reserve of power in terms of sound volume, at the 15th out of 30 divisions it yells so you have to slow it down. Large computer headphones pump without problems. A capacious battery and a detailed display of its status - 4 divisions, each 25%. Juicy picture for such a grainy and small resolution. The sound is clear without interference.
Cons
  • There is no loading bar on the track playback screen, only the current and total time of the track. The horizontal "load" bar under the dancing equalizer graph would have looked more beautiful and informative. The second minus is that there is no way to adjust the equalizer frequencies manually! I really want to add bottoms and turn down the top. But no, this player has only 7 built-in presets, you can't edit them or create your own, I think this is the weakest point of this player. You will have to select headphones, instead of using those that are and setting the equalizer for them. Developers! Make a firmware ate on it with the ability to adjust the equalizer manually! The third minus is that the recorder writes with a hiss, the microphone is of poor quality. But I don't use it, so it's not critical.
