I bought three of these with straw lids for my children for Christmas. This water bottle has a very cute design and my kids were excited to see it. However, I wish I had looked at them carefully before presenting them. The lids will mold in no time. There is no way to separate any part to clean cracks and crevices and the silicone is completely hidden under the plastic. The Simple Modern Care video shows how to clean a bottle which is useless information. The only advice for taking care of lids is to wash them in the dishwasher. But if you're like me, I don't put plastic in dishwashers or microwaves for health reasons. There is another leakproof lid design but it doesn't fit my preschooler and toddler. There's also no indication that this lid will have removable seals. That's my biggest problem. My second issue is that pressure builds up in the straw so water sometimes spurts out. In addition, no water flows back on the straw, so that some of the water drains off even when it is closed. I am very disappointed for the price of this bottle.
