Review on 💄 Bdellium Tools Maestro Series 12pc. Professional Makeup Brush Set with Roll-Up Pouch by Ana Ramos

I recently received my 12 piece Maestro Bdellium brush set and was blown away by the quality! I asked the company (bdellium) if I could do a direct comparison between the Bdellium brush set and the Sigma brush set and they sent me a Maestro set to test. And let me just say this brush set is AMAZING! When I bought my Sigma set for about the same price of $99 I was a bit disappointed with the frizzy hair but the Bdellium set was soft and didn't fray at all :) While Sigma may have better advertising and marketing , I personally think Bdellium has a better product for the same price if not a bit cheaper for some brushes. The Bdellium grips are slightly shorter, lighter and have a glossy finish on the black grip, while the Sigma has a matte finish. The only drawback I see with the bdolach pens is that the brush function is not labeled on the side like it is with the Sigmas. For example, Sigma Large Powder says F-30 while Bdellium only has one number. It's good to know what brushes you use if you're not a professional makeup artist. So here is a LONG INSIDE comparison of brushes that perform the same function. Bdellium #980: This brush is so soft and there was absolutely no wear and only a little shedding. The perfect powder brush! VS.Sigma F30: This brush is also soft, but I rubbed a lot with this particular brush. * Bd score compared to Sigma: 1:0 cheating ends! It's super thick and perfect for full coverage of foundation and is great for applying blushes and bronzers too! I liked the fact that it's denser than the Sigma :) VS.Sigma F50: Well, this one is soft too, but I was disappointed with the wear and lack of density in the white bristle area. *Bd vs Sigma Score: 2 -0Bdellium #942: This angled contour brush is perfect for contouring cheeks with bronzer :) It's soft and I love the way it applies makeup. It's a bit smaller than the Sigma brush, but I find this to be a plus when contouring as you don't need a large line when defining the jaw line etc. vs. Sigma F40: So I've seen the most wear and tear of any Sigma brush on this particular brush. I'm not sure if they used lighter colored hair, but I wasn't too happy. Sigma actually replaced this brush for me and two others from my entire set as they had worn out so badly. I like to use my wet foundation and apply it all over my face and it did a great job! This brush was a bit rounder than bdolach but didn't really make a difference in application. *Bd vs Sigma score: 4-1. It does a good job and is slightly smaller than the Sigma version, which I think makes for more accuracy. vs. Sigma E40: The Sigma version also wore out horribly on this brush, but they took care of me by sending a new one. . The new one was much better and mixes well too. Both can be useful in this brush style! *Bd vs Sigma Score: 5-2Bdellium #778: This large eyeshadow brush blends fairly well, but I find it to be less dense and broad than the Sigma, making application a bit more difficult. . Also, the ferrule seemed to wobble a bit, meaning it might come loose one day. However, this was the only tip I came across from the entire set, just to clarify! VS.Sigma E60: Well, Sigma is the first real win in my comparison. Although both brushes do about the same job, the Sigma is a little denser, making it easier to apply the shadows and holds the pigment better. * Bd score compared to Sigma: 5-3. The bristles are soft and dense. vs. Sigma E30: Sigma's pencil brush is slightly narrower at the tip, making it easier to apply to hard-to-reach areas. Another victory for Sigma.*Vol. vs. Sigma: 5-4Bdellium #763: This slightly angled brush is perfect for applying eye makeup! The bdolach brush is a bit wider than the Sigma, but I don't think that's a bad thing. VS.Sigma E65: A small sigma angle is also great for applying shadows and eyeliner. I recommend both.*Vol. vs. Sigma: 5-5 Uh-oh-oh! Thanks to its precision and density, you'll get the perfect eyeliner every time! VS.Sigma E05: This brush is also great for eyeliner, but I prefer the Bdellium brush because it has a more pointed tip.*Bd. against Sigma: 6-5******************************************** ***** ****Ok, now we have some brushes that look/work differently in each set. There are 3 different ones in these two sets but they all serve a great purpose. I'll start with that of Bdellium: Bdellium #964: This is a blush brush so handy for applying blush and even powder. I think it's a nice addition to the Bdellium set and I think Sigma should have included something like that because sometimes the big powder brush in each set is just too big. eyeshadow! Bdellium #540: Precision Eyeliner is one of my favorites! For me it works better than an angled liner. Perhaps in exchange for a different brush type, Bdellium should have chosen one liner over another? vol. Rating vs Sigma: 7-5 Then there's Sigma: Sigma E55: This is a thick, thick and wide eyeshadow brush from Sigma. A very nice brush and I would like Bdellium to include it in their kit. Sigma E70: This is a medium-angle eyeshadow brush from Sigma, another nice accessory to have in the kit. Sigma F70: and finally the Sigma Concealer Brush! If there is anything missing from bdellium in your set, I would say that it is. It's always nice to have a little concealer brush and it really helps. Score compared to Sigma: 7-6 ***************************************** ************************************************** ***** ***** **************************************** ********* ********** *****Also, the Bdellium roll-up pouch can hold more brushes than the Sigma due to the inclusion of another row of brush slots :) Bd. Score vs. Sigma: 8-6*Best "General FEEL”: Bdellium wins here too! vol. Result against Sigma: 9-6 And Bdellium wins by 3 points! At least in my book :) So there are always differences between sets and their brushes, but I still really like what Bdellium included in their set :) Both brush sets are very durable and have good brush tips and soft bristles. I prefer the Bdellium kit to the Sigma for price and quality. I say GO BDELLIUM if you are thinking about buying brushes and are torn between two companies!
