Fire hazard: avoid at all costs!
Ever since I've had these LEDs, they've been getting hot, I've swapped out the controller and power supply and they're still getting hot! From the moment they turned on you could feel warm like it was a lightbulb. I thought maybe it was because they were wrapped so I unwrapped and installed them. After leaving them for an hour I smelled something burning/melting. I went to check them out and the strip was melting and so hot I was sure it was going to explode. They are a major fire hazard, avoid them at all costs!
