I don't use irrigators but my wife has been using them regularly for about 2 years and has had a lot of positive feedback from our dentist and hygienist. We were a bit concerned that this generic parts replacement didn't push the original or just had issues with it based on other reviewers. However, she told me that it is connected to the device and works just as well as the original device.
