There were a couple of old tools I bought recently and the stands of some of them had rusty feet and casters. For my restoration work I chose stainless steel to avoid problems in the future. It was a good buy and saved me from having to use tooth lock washers or lock washers. They hold remarkably well once unscrewed and can be easily ripped off if needed. Although I've always had lock nuts in the past, this is the first stainless steel I've ever needed. I will be buying them again from Marine Bolt Supply as they arrived well packaged and as advertised.
