Review on Barlus Underwater Koi Pond Camera: 304 Stainless Steel, IP68, 1080P 2MP POE IP Camera for Crystal Clear Monitoring by Todd Gill

This was one of the few underwater POE IP cameras I could find. I work very well. Instructions and installation were difficult. Instructions in English but not very clear. I know this is a Chinese camera and this is reflected in the instructions. But I managed to install the software and install the app on my phone. Once installed it is solid. Great connection and great video. The only downside is that the camera's infrared light works automatically and the video looks terrible at night. The infrared light illuminates all pond particles in the water next to the lens. The entire screen looks like a very heavy snowstorm with a faint image of my fish in the background. It's amazing that the video is so visible during the day when the infrared light isn't on. The frame and mount are great! Solid steel. Very reliable. In general I am very satisfied.
