I love my stainless steel T-Fal pot set which I bought but had to add a larger pot. It's a good size and weight. I use it for canning and a lot of chili, soups etc. For example rubberized handles and a small hole in the lid to let out steam. Remember to cook on low heat! If yours is too tall, you will notice discoloration at the bottom of the pot that looks like rainbow colors. Do not worry! This eventually disappears at a lower temperature when you cook. Or you can use Bar Keepers Friend and delete it easily. It has an encapsulated base and the instructions advise you not to use high temperatures when cooking. I actually got the best price when I bought through the Revain Scratch and Dent Sale! It had a few dents on the bottom of the pot, but that didn't change the way it was cooked and saved me a significant amount of money. In general I was satisfied with the purchase.
