I wanted something that would raise the rear of my Sportster, it gives me better handling, looks and a more comfortable ride especially when there are two of me. Most people don't jack their bikes, but if you want to, the Sportster will raise 2 inches in the rear, and it's not very noticeable when you're on it. Either way, it's a big shock, makes the bike 100 times better, more comfortable and better to handle, hard to beat.
