Sounds better than average for inexpensive headphones when they are completely in the ear. As soon as they are not fully seated in the ear, the bass disappears, the high frequencies become very harsh and somewhat painful. Unfortunately, they slip very often and have to be constantly adjusted, even for simple tasks like mowing the lawn or driving a car. It will be difficult to train them. None of the earphone sizes stay in my ear and I've never had this problem with other earphones. I think the biggest issue is the weight and size of the dangling remote control. This tends to pull the earbuds out of the way and eventually out of your ear. The packaging seems more detrimental than helpful for a person with an average ear size, as the plastic doesn't stay on the ear, adding to the weight the earbud pulls out. Regardless, they're very comfortable and sound great when fully inserted, and are great for those who want a discreet hearing aid but don't need one for exercise. One thing to add, I received several calls through them with a very intrusive noise in the background. I heard perfectly and the person on the other end of the line had no idea my phone was still in my pocket and I was talking through headphones. They also said they couldn't hear my loud background noise at all. + to answer calls. Since I'm usually active while I want to wear them, they end up lagging behind.
