Experimental antenna.

Bought to experiment. The stock 2019 Ford Ranger antenna on the garage door was a problem. Bought a short jr and the reception wasn't very good. On this I went up about 2 or 3 inches from the base and bent it so it points straight back. Same reception as the standard antenna, plus does not close the garage door. Looks weird, but who is actually looking at the antennas?
