I really needed a lap desk that would allow me to raise my laptop's eye level when sitting in my La-Z-Boy and it does all that I have found. Pros: * Simple, easy. * The fold-out lip helps keep my laptop in place, and since it's only about 5 inches wide (not full width), it doesn't cut into my wrists like some others. * The two cushions underneath are soft and thick enough to make the table even higher. or less):* While this makes the device light, it's not the most durable desktop I've ever used. The plastic is a little flimsy, but doesn't feel like it's going to break or anything. Not a big minus.* Too narrow for me. I wish it was about six inches wider. I have a 13 inch MacBook Pro and there is only one inch on either side of the table. But beyond that, I feel like sometimes I have to keep my feet closer together than I'd like to keep the table stable. An extra inch or two on each side would be great. An extra inch or two in depth might be fine for larger laptops too, although I can't verify that. On my 13", the top edge is also only about 1" long.* Finally, I'd like to see some sort of non-slip surface (or surfaces) on the table top. There's a nice bit on the lip that helps hold the laptop in place if I lean a bit, but I'll put some non-slip tape on my son. Overall, I'm glad I got this. If they made a wider one, I'd take it in a heartbeat. I'll tweak this with the ribbon and maybe some other tweaks, but I'm happier with it than I've ever been with a competitor.
