Carbide cutting edges seem to cut fine, caught a branch in the wood and bent the base metal of the lower 1/2" shank 1/4" Cutting edge dove, then broke again one of the carbide cutting edges. Impossible to buy a decent US made tool at a reasonable price. This set is Chinese junk. We were sold out, bought by our bankers and manufacturers here in the US.
