I am not excited about this product because it was designed for the boat side (hot side) of the connector and it speaks and looks like the female end of the connector, you need for the boat side (hot side) of the plug. However, when you open the spring-loaded cap you have two exposed pins about half an inch apart, not what you want on the hot side of your connector. I was about to travel when I hooked it up, otherwise I would have sent it back. At the end of the season I will do the hole again. I even thought about connecting it backwards. I do not recommend this fork, there are better products.
