Review on 🔌 Dorman 38522 Tailgate Cable: The Ultimate Black Solution for Your Vehicle by Jose Muenzen

As luck would have it, both of my OEM tailgate wires broke at the same time. Decided to try these out as the reviews are mostly positive. Item does NOT match photo, metal tongue is missing on both connectors although this does not affect performance. More worryingly, quality control in the manufacture of these cables is clearly "free". My identical cords are unequal in length (about 1/4 inch) which causes one to sag slightly while the other is being exercised. Maybe that's not a problem, but I've decided to report it.
