Review on GIGABYTE GeForce Graphics WINDFORCE GV N3080GAMING by Wiktor Jakuta ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

In the drain in my case (only three 120mm case fans), the maximum temperature reached 75 on the processor, and 85 on the memory chips. The hot spot is about 85-87 degrees. The card was tested in Cyberpunk, Heaven Benchmark (everything at maximum, 2k resolution) for a couple of hours. At this point, cooling starts to work much more actively. In general, these temperatures are working, because. and thermal pads in the second revision are more decent, they should not leak, you can not touch anything. More for the sake of my own satisfaction, I threw off ~ 5-7 degrees both on the processor and on the memory through undervolting. In my case, it stably keeps 1950 MHz at 925 mV without loss in performance (in the drain, it reaches its maximum somewhere up to these frequencies, although the voltage is about 100mV higher). Of course, you can reduce frequencies and voltage even more, sacrificing a couple of FPS, and achieve much better temperatures.

Pros
  • Good card for the money compared to others today. Perhaps it will become cheaper in a couple of months after the full release of the 4xxx series. With a cashback and a coupon, it turned out several thousand cheaper, so I'm satisfied, nevertheless, in 2022, for the same money, they bought 3060 just a few months ago, at best 3070. For playing Cyberpunk, RDR 2 at 2k with beams and maximum or near-maximum settings is fine.
Cons
  • 1) The package is poor, in the box there is only the card itself and a couple of pieces of paper, but these are trifles. 2) Despite the fact that this is an OC version, power limit cannot be set more than 100%. Although it is clear that factory overclocking is supposed to be. For me, this is a minor drawback, since there is no desire to overclock on my own. 3) Silent is difficult to call. Up to 40 degrees by default, the fans do not spin at all, on the way to 70 it is still noticeably audible, although my whole system itself is quite noisy, so it doesn’t matter

Got pros: Powerful, stylish, quiet, cold 60-65 degrees. Cons: No. Was bought for 60 thousand, just a gift.
