Pleasantly hard bristles are pleasant to the touch! Dirt and dead skin are easily removed. If the handle was 6 inches longer I could easily reach all parts of my back. The grip is slippery when hands are lathered. The cut ends of the synthetic cord need to be melted a bit to keep it from unraveling; this is typical for almost all synthetic lines. Now, a month later, the bristles sit well on the brush head and are still elastic. I gave one of the brushes to my son. He reported the same experience as me. Only the handle should be longer.
