I've been using washable bamboo makeup remover pads for a few years. Mix. These pads are good but when I washed them the edges started to wobble and the pad wasn't flat anymore. It's okay, but not everyone does it. I love that I have ten regular 3.25" pads as well as ten large 4" pads. Both sides of the pad have the same texture. The smaller pad has a loop texture like my old ones, the larger pad is more like velor. An image on the product page lists the incorrect dimensions, "8.5" is actually 8.5cm or 3.5", and "10" is actually 10cm or 4". I use micellar water with them, you may need to cover the pad with a cup to keep the water from beading off when you apply it to the pad, but other than that it's better than a disposable cotton swab. Also included is a small mesh pouch. but it's not really big enough to wash pads. It's big enough to store clean pads, but it's not very roomy. I put mine in a large underwear bag that I keep in the bathroom and wash them in the washing machine along with the bath towels. You want the pads to have enough room to float and really wear out. There's also a spa-style headband with Velcro closure that feels big enough to fit most. For the price I think it's a good set that would also make a good gift.
