This is a good kit and I've read about a lot of them. For the money this is a great option. And it's worth buying a kit with the home button etc. already attached. I'll mention a few things to help the next person who tries this. Removing the old screen is a hassle, mine broke into small pieces of glass, I used the vacuum cleaner at the store and just kept cleaning it. There are no instructions but they point to the video, this is a normal video for IPAD2, if you have 3 you need to watch the video for 3, the clips holding the connectors are different. I bought a replacement frame for a few bucks, it's almost impossible not to damage the one you have when removing the glass. I ended up giving 4 stars because the adhesive backing wasn't very strong, I had to seal the edges with tape. Maybe it's because I added a frame and there wasn't any glue on it. The rest of the screen now works great.
