The phone mount is an important part as it keeps your $1,000 investment in place - incredibly durable. No vibration could knock it out of its mount. (see videos). Haven't tried the mounting bar and sticky pad yet, but I'm much less worried about it. I'll update the review once I've installed the mount in the car with the included adhesive pad and suction cup. At the moment - 5+ stars; I've never had such a secure mount with the ability to view my phone in either portrait or landscape mode. Car Mount: Easy to install, great design and easy to use. Very flexible, durable, sticks well to the included pad. Easily adjustable height, reach, angle and orientation. The magnetic cable holder is a little trick - it's just as easy to wrap the cable around the mount. Still very impressed with the overall package. Details: Made of hard, reinforced plastic. Does not shear under normal use. The sidebars DO NOT touch the buttons unlike most other mounts I've seen. Easily removed with a push. Easy to insert - just push and the wide side bars snap into place. .Suitable for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with thick case. Doesn't cover any of the cameras. Yes, you can use this as a video mount for your car.
