I was a bit worried when I saw the other bad image quality rating but I think they have a bad machine. The one I received is fantastically clear. I have no trouble focusing, near, far, wherever you are, soldering. I will say there are a few plastic parts that seem cheap and worries me considering the warranty is only 1 year. Also, and this is important, there is screen lag at 1080P. I lowered the resolution to 720P and the lag is almost invisible. This can be an issue when soldering, but it worked great at 720P. What bothers me the most is the LED lighting. They're well positioned, but something about them irritates my eyes. I don't know if there's flickering or if it's just color temperature, but they definitely bother me. I recommend it, but keep these caveats in mind.
